If your poem is in another language and you don’t have an exact translation, please feel free to summarise the subject in English then read the full poem in its original language.

Poetry reaffirms our common humanity by revealing our shared priorities and feelings – and that seems important right now.

National Poetry Day Event

Tomorrow night, Thursday Oct 5th, Poets’ Corner Folkestone presents our National Poetry Day open-mic. 7-for-7.30 pm (until about 10pm). The theme is ‘Refuge’. All are welcome. No need to book in advance- if you wish to take part, just turn up and give us your name. We offer 5 minutes at the mic.
