On Thursday 9th March, we once again have an International Night, when we invite you to read poems in other languages and/or in translation; by writers in English from outside the UK; about other countries or cultures.
When we first did this, I thought that it would be of minority interest, and I couldn’t have been more wrong- I think we had our biggest ever audience, with poems in about 14 languages. Please feel welcome to join us, either as a listener or a participant (we offer 5 minutes at the mic).
