Today is World Poetry Day. This is about poetry (any art form) and its use:

You tug at a thread
And something begins to unravel;
At another, and find
You have tied an unlooseable knot;

You wonder how far Alexander
Had to travel
Before he first heard
The rattle of heathen gunshot.
